Jillian Michelle Howlett

Jillian Michelle Howlett, 35, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. She was a 2003 graduate of Floyd Central High School and a current employee at Latimer Animal Hospital in New Albany, where she served as a veterinary tech and receptionist. Jillian was an animal lover, and also enjoyed to sing and travel. She was a "city girl" through and through, and considered a "soul sister" to her closest friends.

She was born on December 28, 1984 in New Albany, Indiana. Jillian was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy Owens and Bonnie Howlett.

Jillian is survived by her parents, Tammie (Owens) Howlett-Lynch (Ron), Jeffrey Howlett; grandparents, Myra Owens, Norman Howlett; sisters, Lori Tomes (Brandon), Alexandria Powers (Steve); step-siblings, Brittany and Parker Cox; boyfriend, Kennie Combs, Jr.; as well as numerous friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, (2100 Hwy 150, Floyds Knobs) with her funeral service taking place at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Jillian's wishes.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church or to Latimer Animal Hospital (2831 Charlestown Road, New Albany) to help assist families with pets in need.
