Jill R. Smith, age 92 of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was born in Frittenden, England on August 20, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur C. Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her loving daughter, Jill Dettlinger (Jerry); grandchildren, Melissa G. Dettlinger and Catherine M. Dettlinger; and also a host of relatives and friends. She was especially close to her loving cats, Mocha, Ginger, Isabel and Honey.
Funeral ceremony will be noon on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Hosparus for the loving care of mother.
Memorials may be made to Hosparus or the Kentucky Humane Society.
