Jettye Mae (Archie) Patterson

Jettye Mae (Archie) Patterson, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed playing Bingo.

She was born on July 9, 1933, in Linton, Tennessee, to the late Dave and Eva Archie. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Noarl Patterson; her son, Joseph Meredith, and his father, Cletus Meredith; and a number of brothers and sisters.

Jettye is survived by her children; Dennis Patterson, Denise Sweet (Joseph), and Janet Shultz (Mark); 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. after visitation in the chapel at the funeral home. Cremation will follow, following Jettye's wishes.
