Jessie C. Herald, age 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, gently passed away on May 27, 2025. Known for her loving and caring nature, Jessie brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a passion for BINGO, cherished yard sales, and had an eye for a good deal. Her resilience shone through in her dedication to ensuring her family was always cared for. Jessie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Born on November 3, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, Jessie was the beloved daughter of John and Clara (Ogle) Jutz. She is preceded in death by her father, John Jutz, Sr., her mother, Clara Rose Jutz, and her son, Ronald Obrien, Jr.
Jessie leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years, Johnny L. Herald, along with her children Misty Obrien, Johnny Herald, Jr., Steve Staub, and Anthony (Jamie) Herald. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Shane (Linzy) Schneidtmiller, Wayne (Skyler) Schneidtmiller, Jr., Jonathan Obrien, Hailey Obrien, Abby, Christian, Brandy Herald, Oaklyn Staub, and four great-grandchildren. Jessie is remembered by her siblings John (Margaret) Jutz, James (Cindy) Jutz, Lawrence (Nancy) Jutz, and Clara (Randy) Mullins, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the same location.
