Jesse Ronald Potter

August 18, 1941 — June 22, 2024

Louisville

Jesse Ronald Potter (Ronnie)

Went to be with the Love of his life, Rosie on Saturday June 22, 2024 after a long 12 years apart.

He was a graduate of Ahrens Trade High School, he served in the Navy, was a Freemason (he took the secret handshake to his grave), Co-owner of Ollie’s Trolley, a Master Plumber by trade and a proud member of Plumbers local 107, yes he’s been around that long, chances are if you visit any building in Louisville, he put the plumbing in it!

Ronnie never met a stranger and was liked by everyone that met him. He always had a good story to tell and always lent a helping hand when needed. He was known to give a full on DIY class in Levy’s, Home Depot and Lowes, although his favorite hardware store was Keith’s Hardware, he was old school like that. He enjoyed cooking, watching the History channel, Grit TV and taking over school projects, it took momma days to get the orange hot lava off of the ceiling. He cherished his time with friends and family and he was the most genuine and truly kind person to have known. We will miss his kind heart, laughter, knowledge and cheesecake.

His last words were “I love each and every one of you, thank you “ ! He then sang Goodnight Sweetheart Goodnight and drifted off to sleep.

He’s all yours Red, enjoy your dance!

*words of wisdom from Dad*

 a stiletto on a cactus’

“Dad sends his Love”
