Jerry Lynn Walker, 72, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Jerry owned and operated A-1 Lock and Key Service in Clarksville for many years until his retirement. In his younger years, Jerry enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He loved being with his family and was a big John Wayne fan. He was a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps who served during the Vietnam War.
He was born on February 25, 1948 in Houston, Texas, to the late William Walker and Lola Peper. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ellen Walker; and siblings, Bill Walker, Dorothy Cunningham, and Roger Walker.
Jerry is survived by his son, Michael (Allison) Walker; daughter, Ann Marie Walker; grandsons, Landon and Brayden Walker; children, Pam Walker, Tina (Eddie) Storms, Kelly (Les) Kessinger and Jerry (Cathy) Walker, Jr.; brother, Darrel (Helga) Cunningham; sister, Linda Walker and brother, Charlie (Susan) Walker.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
