Jerry Dean Roy

Jerry Dean Roy, 57, passed away on May 28, 2018. He was an active member of Harvest Church of God. Jerry enjoyed watching and going to NASCAR races and watching the Kentucky Wildcats. Spending time with his family and friends was very important to Jerry. Bubby Dale, his faithful dog, which was always by his side, loved him unconditionally.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edsil Roy and son, Justin Roy.

Jerry is survived by his children, Leatha, and Jerry; grandson, Josh; mother, Barbara Roy Tindall; step-father, Clifford Tindall; siblings, Terri (Rick) Conover, Meacie (Ronald) Smallwood and Troy (Michaele) Roy; step-brothers, Steve (Judy) Tindall, Bill (Janet) Tindall and Kenny (Dana) Tindall; nephews, Eric, Drew, Luke, Ricky and loving nephew, Daniel; nieces, Jennifer, Ashley and Caitlin; and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Jerry's life will be Saturday, June 2, 2018, beginning at 10am at the chapel of the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy., Louisville, KY.
