Jerry Kidwell

Jerry Wayne Kidwell, 67, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 surrounded by his family. He grew up in West Louisville and was a graduate of Iroquois High School in 1972. Jerry retired in 2007 after 35 years from Ford Motor Company Louisville Assembly Plant. Jerry enjoyed playing golf at Iroquois Park with his fellow retirees. Jerry was very popular on Facebook, and made many great friends near and far. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on October 29, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Percy and Irene (Carroll) Kidwell. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Brother, Larry Kidwell.

Jerry is survived by his Daughters, Holly (Jason) Lockard, Robin (Christopher) Berry, and Hannah Kidwell, Grandchildren, Nathaniel Lockard, Madison Lockard, Melody Lockard, Ashlyn Berry, Jamison Berry, Bennett Berry, Elliot Berry, and Londyn Kidwell, his Sister, Karen (Sonny) French. Jerry also leaves behind to cherish his memory a Niece and a host of Nephews, Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
