Jerry A. Hawes, 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on December 29, 2017.
He retired from Bales Motors after 49 years of service. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.
Jerry was born on April 7, 1942 in Fern Creek, Kentucky to the late William and Alberta Hawes. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy "Shorty" Hawes.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Francie Elizabeth(Crider) Hawes; children, Jeffrey Hawes (Lushannon), Becky Hawes Wilson, David Hawes (Tiffanye); granchildren, Hayden Hawes, Madison Hawes, Dalton Wilson, Sarah Hawes; brother, Wendell Hawes (Aileen); and sister-in-law, Pat Hawes.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a memorial service to honor the life of Jerry to start at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
