Jerry Ray Ford

Jerry R. Ford, 73, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on June 20, 2017. He enjoyed playing basketball in his younger years and fishing and was an avid roller coaster enthusiast.

Jerry was born on July 22, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Leonard Ford and Helen (Savage) Gratcyk. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Hugh Gratcyk, and stepmother, Doris Ford.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Jena Marie Kemmer (Kerry); sisters, JoAnn Kolb and Terry Jobin; granddaughters, Kiya and Kessa; best friend and companion, Brenda Ford; stepson, Michael Cash; and 4 step-grandsons.

Cremation was chosen in honor of Jerry's wishes. A Memorial Gathering will be held on July 21, 2017, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Northside Christian Church. His Memorial Service will then begin at 5:00 p.m.
