Jerry Wayne Cole, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021.
He was born on June 13, 1939 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Ada (Horn) Cole. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Inus Cleon Cole and brother Robert Cole.
After high school, Jerry served in the United States Army Reserves for two years, he was a member of the Louisville Genealogical Society for several years. Jerry and Cleon also raised and showed German Shepherd Dogs for over 30 years.
Jerry is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Cole, three grandchildren; Hannah Swartz, Joshua Swartz, Wayne Swartz and one great-granddaughter Paisley.
Per Jerry's wishes cremation was chosen and there will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
