Jerry "Chuck" Massey

Jerry "Chuck" Massey aka "Butterbean", 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 22, 2022. Chuck loved life, and he enjoyed spending his time boating, fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family and friends. He was very generous with his time and had a larger than life heart for helping others.

Jerry was born on April 13, 1950, Big Clifty, Kentucky to the late John and Clara (Joyner) Massey.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Massey and his brothers, Terry Massey and Harold Massey.

Jerry is survived by his children, son, Rick Massey (Margaret); daughter, Andrea "Bea" Sneed (Shelby); son, Richard Massey (Marie); grandchildren, Danielle, Amanda, Bobby, Savannah, Alex, Trent, Alexa, Bryana, Cade; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jimmy Massey.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Cremation services were chosen and services will conclude after Wednesday evening.
