Jeremy Scott Blandford, 30, of Louisville, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He was a 2008 graduate of Borden High School where he played baseball as a pitcher. After graduation, Jeremy began attending Hanover College, where he also played baseball, and went on to graduate in 2013 from Spalding University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Jeremy recently began pursuing an MBA through Louisiana State University.
He was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky, Chicago Cubs, and Carolina Panthers. Jeremy could also be described as somewhat of a bourbon enthusiast. His true passion, however, was volunteering. Jeremy selflessly dedicated much of his time to the ACE Project and Fed with Faith.
He was born on September 29, 1989, in Louisville, Kentucky, to James Blandford and the late Linda (Barnes) Blandford. Along with his father, Jeremy is survived by his siblings, Amber Blandford (Johannes Kleiner), Whitney Blandford (Roger Groenstad), and Mike Blandford (Sharon); nephews, Michael and Maxwell Blandford; niece, Madison Blandford; the love of his life, Shay McAlister; as well as countless friends and his dog-daughter, Juniper.
