Jeremi Todd Sanders, age 35 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was an active member of the University of Louisville Cheerleading Squad where he won two national titles. He was also an influential contributor to the All-Star Cheerleading industry where his contributions to the implementation of scoring and judging systems continues to impact the sport still today. Jeremi was an assistant coach and choreographer for the Floyd Central High School Cheerleading Squad for ten years.
Jeremi is survived by his loving partner, Jason T. Mitchell; his sister, Keri Sanders Waide; his beloved aunt, Dixie Phillips; his dogs, Tatum and Olive; and the Family he created among his friends and his co-workers; #JAMfam.
A celebration of Jeremi's life will be 6PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Visitation will be there from 2pm until time of service.
