Jennifer Lynn (Carnes) Rice, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
She was born on July 12, 1952, in Henry County, Indiana, to the late James and Lois (Maple) Carnes. Jennifer was also preceded in death by her husband, Randy Rice; daughter, Teresa Rice; and brother, David Carnes.
Jennifer is survived by her siblings, James Carnes, Jr., Diane Gillock (Butch), Jerry Carnes (Theresa), Thomas Carnes (Janet), Elizabeth Hopkins, Robert Carnes, Bruce Carnes (Sharon), Jeff Carnes, and Brian Carnes (Nancy); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her Funeral Service taking place at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Contributions in Jennifer's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Court, Suite 104, Louisville, Kentucky 40223).
