Jennifer Diane Hawkins

Jennifer Diane Hawkins, born on April 25, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, in her beloved hometown. She was the cherished daughter of Walter Figg, Jr. and Norma Figg, who preceded her in death. Jennifer devoted herself to her family and was a loving wife to her husband of 55 years, Charles Hawkins, who also predeceased her.

Jennifer is remembered fondly by her children, Steven Hawkins (Marie) and Sarah Hawkins, as well as her granddaughter, Camilla Hawkins. She shared a close bond with her siblings: Walter Figg, Mary Hardin, Bryan Figg, and Carla Slusser, who, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, will carry her memory forward.

As a Jehovah's Witness, Jennifer lived her life with deep faith and commitment to her beliefs. Her family fondly recalls her exceptional cooking, which brought joy and love to many gatherings. As a devoted wife and mother, she created a warm and nurturing home that was filled with laughter and cherished moments.

Visitation services to honor Jennifer's life and memory will be held on December 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243.

Jennifer's legacy of love and compassion will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
