Jennifer Lynn Alford, cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 51.
Born on October 18, 1974, Jennifer was a woman of deep faith and boundless love. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—cooking delicious meals that delighted her family, sharing laughter that filled every room, and basking in the beauty of sunsets while sipping her favorite coffee. Her heart was fullest when caring for those she loved, especially in her roles as a devoted mother and nurturing nanny. Jennifer treasured beach vacations with her family and had a special fondness for butterflies, symbols of the gentle spirit she carried with her always.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Smith, her son, Jasper Campbell, and her brother, Anthony Frost. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband of thirty years, Danny Alford; her daughters, Summer Gripp and Destiny (Matthew) Keeling; her grandson, Isaiah; and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
A visitation to honor Jennifer’s life will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, followed by burial at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made in Jennifer’s memory to support those she loved most.
Those wishing to share memories or leave messages of comfort are invited to visit the guestbook. Jennifer’s warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched all who knew her and will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
