Jennie Josephine Mitchell Peace, 89, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was a native of Coral Ridge, KY and former member of Penile Baptist Church in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Peace. of Valley Station, KY, father, Thomas Needham Mitchell, Sr of Glendale, AZ, and mother, Mary Jane Avis Mitchell of Bardstown, KY. Survivors include sons, David L. (Karen) of Hodgenville, KY, Glenn D. (Wanda) of Rineyville, KY, Craig G. (Tammy) of Shepherdsville, KY, daughter Susan, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Bethany Memorial Cemetery (10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville).
