Jenene Bledsoe

Jenene Bledsoe, 68, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022.
Jenene took a break from the workplace to invest her time, talent, and energy in raising her two children. As they grew, she went back to school to earn her teaching certificate which, she put to use in multiple Southern Indiana school districts.
Her passions in life included her family, gardening, reading, shelling, and one must not forget, bargain shopping. She was never one to let a sale or outlet shop go uninvestigated. As a member of Sunnyside Master Gardeners, she developed and taught an annual Christmas Wreath-making class for the last 35 years.
Jenene is survived by her husband, Clark Bledsoe; father, James Shelby Parke; children, Brenna (Amy) Martinez and Drew (Lindsay) Bledsoe; sister, Pattie (Ray) Doyle; and 4 magnificent grandchildren, Rowan Bledsoe, Hudson Bledsoe, Baker Martinez, and Anderson Martinez. She is preceded in death by her mother, Runell Boston Parke; and brother, Clifford Parke.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following Jenene's wishes.
