Jeffrey Purdom

Jeffrey Purdom, born on December 2, 1962, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, passed away on August 16, 2025. He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend who is remembered for his quiet demeanor and dedication to those he loved.

Jeffrey graduated from Valley High School in 1980, where he showcased his musical talent by playing the saxophone in the school band. After completing his education, he proudly served his country for three years in the Army, a testament to his strong sense of duty and commitment.

Following his military service, Jeffrey embarked on a career at the Galt House Hotel, where he spent about 14 years as a maintenance supervisor. 

Jeffrey is survived by his loving mother, Joyce Purdom; sister, Diane Kirk; niece, Lindsay (Brandon) Drake; nephew, Wesley Kirk; and great nieces, Kinley and Kiley Drake. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar (Pete) Purdom.

As we remember Jeffrey, we celebrate a life defined by service, dedication, and a profound love for his family. His legacy will continue through the memories shared by those who knew and cherished him.
