Jeffrey Alan Mccoy

Jeffrey Alan McCoy, 65, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024. He was a National Guard veteran who proudly served his country and his family. Jeff was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing and was an avid UK Wildcat fan. He also loved to travel, especially on cruises. Jeff was an intelligent, stubborn, quick witted, hard working, reserved man who had the best humor and most generous personality.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Hinton and his step-father, Eddie Melton (Jean Melton's husband).

Jeff leaves to cherish his memoires his wife, Elizabeth McCoy; daughters, Taylor McCoy and Kasey McCoy; grandson, Alan McCoy; siblings, Kim (Tony) Kirk, Starr (Hubert) Logsdon, Scott Roberts, Rusty Roberts, Kelly (Veronica) Hicks and Bernajean White; mom, Jean Melton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14, 2024. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-6pm.
