Jeffrey Robert Beneigh

December 4, 1954 — February 28, 2017

Jeffrey Robert Beneigh, 62, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was an aircraft mechanic for UPS and a member of Teamsters Local 2727. Jeff was also a member of the South Hoosier Street Rods Car Club, NHRA, and St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed drag racing.

Jeff was born on December 4, 1954, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert and Loretta (Sweesy) Beneigh. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie (Rankin) Beneigh; children, David Beneigh and Nicole Beneigh; sisters, L. Jean Mau (Robert) and Joelyn Niggel (Louis); and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9:00 a.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Contributions in Jeff's memory may be made to the ALS Association – Kentucky Chapter (8640 Haines Drive, Florence, Kentucky 41042) or to a charity of donor's choice.
