Jeannette Dyche, 97, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Jeannette was a loving and devoted mother and Granny to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing and was a skilled seamstress. Jeannette had a strong faith in the Lord and considered it to be the cornerstone of her life. Most importantly, Jeanette cherished her family and the everlasting memories she made with them. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was born on May 28, 1928 in Calvin, Kentucky to Elx and Lucy (Noe) Slusher. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Orville Lynn Dyche; siblings, Charles Slusher, Kathleen Breeding, Fay Daniel, Marion Slusher, Paul Slusher, Clara Webb, Alex Slusher; and special friend, Bob Baxter.
Jeannette is survived by her loving family, son, Charles Wayne Dyche; grandsons, Jeremy Dyche, Greg (Kathrine) Dyche, Chris (Jaelyn Nicole) Dyche; great-grandchildren, Kerbey Anne Gregg, Parker Jackson Dyche, Addyson Marie Dyche, Elise McKenna Dyche, Gabriella Dyche, Korissa Dyche, Griffin Dyche, Maniah Dyche, Nicole Dyche, Charles Dyche; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
