Jeanne Palmore Graham, age 75 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016.
She was born on September 8, 1941 in Louisville to the late Robert A. Palmore and Francis Graham Palmore.
Jeanne attended U of L. Her love of books and learning made her an ideal librarian. The Louisville Free Public Library became her life's work. Upon her retirement she spent a great deal of time creating a garden. She felt a kinship with nature and animals. Residents of the Highlands may remember seeing her riding her horse Dusty in the neighborhood as well as walking her iguana on a leash.
Jeanne is survived by her special friend Kent Sykes and her cousins Richard Waitman and Ann Kiper (John).
Visitation will be 12pm to 2pm, Wednesday, January 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, with a celebration of Jeanne's life at 2pm.
