Jeanne Ennis

Jeanne Asher Ennis, age 75 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. Jeanne was born in Warbranch, KY near Hyden on June 6, 1950 to the late John and Annie Begley Asher. She and her husband Bill met in 1965 at Thomas Jefferson High School in their typing class. Having transferred from Ahrens School, Jeanne didn't have a book and Bill shared his with her. The rest they say is history as they shared over 59 years of happiness together.  To Jeanne, family was the most important thing in the world and she cherished every minute.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Ennis; her children, Billy Ennis (Amanda) and Brad Ennis (Rae Carol); grandchildren, Danielle Young (Kenny), Billy Ennis (Maria), Ethan Ennis (Megan) and Ryan Ennis; great-grandchildren, Dathan, Cheyanne, Savannah and Levi Young; siblings, Betty Duke, Diana Pirrman, John Asher and Fred Asher; fur-babies, Cricket and Buddy; and a host of family and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Jeanne's life will be 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, April 11, 2026 in the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church Main Campus, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
