Jeanne L. Bills, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
She was born on December 26, 1926 in Syracuse, New York to the late Martin and Lucy (Goodrich) Lawler. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Herbert Bills, daughter, Sandra Spink and siblings; Martin Lawler, Barbara Devendorf, Marylou Brown and Richard Lawler.
Jeanne was a loving "domestic engineer", mother of 5 and Grandma, GiGi, and Nena to 31 grandchildren. She was an avid golfer scoring two hole in ones in her lifetime, but her greatest legacy was her love of her family and friendships. Jeanne will be dearly missed by all, but we take comfort that she loved Jesus and we know we will all be reunited one day.
She is survived by her loving children; Debbie Bovee, Dave Bills (Janet), Robin D'Aniello (Rich), Barbara Bell (Doug), grandchildren; Jeanne Bezner (Ray), Scott Spink (Colleen), Jeffrey Spink, Timothy Kunai (Terri), Joshua Bovee (Natasha), Gwendelynn Bills, Faith Bills, Danielle Vasse (Bryan), Christian D'Aniello, Gabrielle Carpenter (Jacob), Caleb D'Aniello (Jacqueline), Reid Aksterowicz, Braden Bell, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Jacquelyn Caltabiano, Vivian Cooper (Glen) and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held at a later date where she and her husband will be laid to rest together at Nashville National Cemetery (1420 Gallatin Pike S., Madison, TN 37115).
