Jeanine Marie Cintron, age 51, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Born on March 22, 1975, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Joseph and Janice (Zoeller) York, Jeanine lived a life full of love and devotion to her family and friends.
Jeanine was a cherished mother, spouse, sister, friend, and Nee-Nee to her beloved grandchildren. She had a warm smile that could brighten any room and a friendly nature that welcomed all whom she met. Her passions included drag racing and reselling treasured finds from thrift shopping. Jeanine’s fondness for Elvis Presley inspired the names of her children and several of her dogs. She also took great joy in tending to the flowers in her beautiful garden and collecting antiques, treasures she held dear.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph York, and her aunt, Carol Zoeller, and has now been reunited with her beloved dogs, who were lovingly cared for during her lifetime.
Jeanine is survived by her loving mother, Janice York; her sons, Randall Aaron Gore II (and wife Madison) and Presley Gilson (and wife Skyler); her significant other, Robert Israel; step-son Bobby Israel (and wife Tia); grandchildren Ansley Gore, Aubree Gilson, Wyatt Vickers; step-grandchildren Bear Israel and Caden Huey; sister Kimberly York; nephews Jonathan York (and wife Makayla) and Justin Shackleford; as well as many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of Jeanine’s life will take place at 6:00 p.m. on the same day and at the funeral home.
