Jeanie Marie "Bell" (Keltner-Wood) Schweitzer

Jeanie Marie "Bell" (Keltner-Wood) Schweitzer, 47, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019. Jeanie was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville and worked for 5 years at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was very proud of her daughters and especially enjoyed attending their softball games and races.

Jeanie is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Chris Schweitzer; mother, Loretta Keltner Schindler; daughters, Alora Dayle, Casey Mae, and Jadyn Marie Schweitzer; brothers, Derek (Erin) Wood and Ethan (Libby) Wood; and grandmother, Lorraine Keltner. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Wood.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
