Jeanette Carol Springer

With heavy hearts, yet in grateful remembrance for a life richly lived Jeanette Carol Springer, who departed this world to be with God on June 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on July 11, 1946, Jeanette’s journey through life was marked by grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished. 

Jeanette’s story began with the promise and hope of a summer day. Her early years shaped the gentle strength, refined warmth, and keen sense of compassion that became hallmarks of her character. Throughout her life, Jeanette was known for her enduring spirit, her gracious presence, and her profound ability to bring comfort and light into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

As a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend, and neighbor, Jeanette’s kindness radiated beyond her immediate circle, touching many with her generosity and thoughtfulness. Her home was a sanctuary for people and animals—one where laughter and good counsel flourished, and where every guest felt valued and welcomed. Jeanette revered the bonds of family and friendship, nurturing them as well as her flowers, birds and squirrels  with the dedication and understanding that came so naturally to her.

Though the accounts of her triumphs and milestones are private chapters, those who knew Jeanette will recall moments of heartfelt connection: the joy in her advice, her quiet encouragement, and the steady sense of purpose with which she faced life’s blessings and hardships alike. She leaves behind a legacy of gentle wisdom, steadfast love, and cherished memories that will echo fondly in the hearts of all who were shaped by her presence.

The community is invited to celebrate Jeanette Carol Springer’s life and honor her memory at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m with graveside services to follow at Howe Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery, 7633 Hardinsburg Road, Cecilia, KY. 

Though words offer but a pale shadow of the life she led, the memory of Jeanette Carol Springer will remain a source of inspiration, solace, and gratitude for all her days among us.
