Jean S. Londeree

May 10, 1929 — December 21, 2015

Jean S. Londeree, age 86 of Louisville, formerly of Charleston, WV, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. She was born in Yawkey, WV to the late Everett L. and Liza Kingrey Saul. Jean was always active in the Charleston Community and served on the Charleston City Council and the Pilot Club of Greater Kanawha Valley for nearly 20 years. She also served as the bookkeeper in her brother's construction company, Saul Construction for approximately 50 years. Jean was active in the church communities of Oakhurst Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James; five siblings, Wilma, Everett, Jr., Crever, Lester and James.

Jean is survived by her loving children, Bill (Peggy), Beth (Allen) and Marilyn (Alex); 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Clara; and a host of relatives and friends.
Jean will be remembered for her intense involvement in the community and her willingness to help others.

A memorial celebration of Jean's life will be 11am Monday, December 28, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston, 508 2nd Avenue, South Charleston, WV 25303, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in South Charleston. A reception will be held at the church after the interment.

Memorials may be made to the Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation or First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston.
