Jean Anne (Hettich) Pepper, 75, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. She attended the University of Louisville and Indiana University Southeast where she went on to become a payroll specialist for the university. Jeannie was also a long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.
She was born on January 31, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Ivo and Marguerite (Noe) Hettich. Jeannie was also preceded in death by her brother, Alan Hettich.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John Pepper; daughters, Michelle Wyzard (Trent) and Angela Tate (Kurt); sister, Judith Burkhardt; grandchildren, Tyler Miller (Madeline), Alanna Miller (Mike Wallace), Shelbi Tate (Jonah Fisher), Nicholas Williams, and Christian Tate; nieces and nephews, Jim Burkhardt (Ellen), John Burkhardt (Teresa), Janie Sharber (Steve), and JoJo Burkhardt.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 North Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville) with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
