Jean Penrod , 94, of Valley Station, Ky passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019.
She was born on January 6, 1925 in Chepstow, South Wales, United Kingdom to Charlie Edwards and Annie Lee Edwards. Jean was a World War Two Bride. She was in School Service and the Lunch Room Manager at PRP High School for over 30 years. Jean was also a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church. She also loved her family, friends, and neighbors, and loved her music.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Robert E. Penrod, Son, Jeff Penrod, and Brother, Stan Edwards.
Jean is survived by her Grandson, Stephen (Laura) Penrod, Granddaughter, Kim Conlin, Grandson, Brian (Tonya) Penrod, Grandson, Jeffery Penrod, Great Grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, Andrew, Brandon, Kristy, Misty, Zoie, Lex, and Abigail, Great Great Grandchildren, Colby, Jeremiah, AJ, and Izick.
The family will have a visitation from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
