Jean Marie Peak, age 89, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016.
She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and St. Anthony School of Nursing. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Peak. She was the matriarch of the family for many years.
Jean is survived by her loving sister, Mae Alice Salkeld; eight children, Jacqueline Wright (Robert), William Jr. (Leslie), Raymond (Janet), Victor (Debbie), Mark (Amelia), Mary Jean (Hamid), Patricia (John) and Michelle (Omari); 20 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Drive with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at St. Edward Church on Monday, November 7th from 4-8pm, and on Tuesday, 9am-10am.
