Jay Phillip Lattimore

Jay Phillip "Phil" Lattimore, 41, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. He was an avid writer and a very skilled blues guitarist. The last few years of his life, Phil spent in self-examination to learn what he could do to have more compassion toward others to make the world a better place.

He was born on November 13, 1977, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Jean "Elaine" (Holyoak) Kitchel and the late Steven L. Lattimore.

Along with his mother, Phil is survived by his loving wife, Kelley M. (Marlett) Lattimore; and siblings, Cynthia Lattimore and Justin Lattimore (Lisa Rabey).

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). His funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday with cremation to follow.

The family requests that contributions in Phil's memory be made to Justin Lattimore in care of Newcomer Funeral Home.
