Jay M. Allen

Jay Marvin Allen, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026. 

He was born on September 10, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Carl and Alice (Fitzpatrick) Allen. He is preceded in death by his Father, Carl Marvin Allen, Brother, Mark Allen, Nephew, Christian Allen.

Jay is survived by his loving family, Mother, Alice Rae Allen, Daughter, Jennifer A. (Kyle) Meredith, Son, Matthew S. (Brittany) Allen, Grandchildren, Connor Allen, Cole Allen, Tristan Meredith, Brothers, Kevin (Diane) Allen, Brian (Sue) Allen, Niece, Nicole Allen, Nephew, Josh Allen, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Jay’s memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
