Jason L. Mulkins

November 1, 1977 — July 7, 2025

Listen to Obituary

Jason L. Mulkins, a cherished soul from Radcliff, Kentucky, left this world too soon on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the age of 47.

A devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Jason was the heart of his family. For over eight years, he worked as a truck driver for Tri-State and Chamulk Trucking, where his dedication and hard work were evident. Outside of his profession, Jason found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing on serene waters, aiming at targets with his trusty guns, and hosting cookouts that brought family and friends together under sunny skies. His warm spirit and friendliness created bonds wherever he went; he had a special knack for turning strangers into friends and made every gathering brighter with his vibrant personality.

Jason was truly the glue that held his family together. An endearing prankster at heart, he loved to tease his mother, always bringing laughter and joy to those around him. Above all, he was a remarkable provider, devoting his time and love to his beloved wife and children. The loss of Jason leaves a profound void in the lives of those who had the privilege of loving him.

Born on November 1, 1977, in Louisville, Kentucky, Jason was the son of Terry and Linda (Tarrence) Mulkins. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Ryan Blake, a loss that deeply touched his heart.

Jason is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 15 years, Shani Blake; his mother, Linda Mulkins; his father, Terry Mulkins; his precious children, Charlotte Blake-Mulkins and Connor Mulkins; his brother, Brian Tarrence; and his sisters, Tara Cruz and Melissa (Christopher) Taylor. He will also be missed dearly by his brothers-in-law, Amili (Sunni) Blake and Ahmed Blake, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his loving memory.

A visitation in Jason’s honor will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. Following this, his Funeral Service will commence at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In remembrance of Jason, his family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, honoring his spirit of giving and love for others.
