Jason Morris, Sr., 37, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on January 1, 2012. Jason was a dedicated employee of Energy Savings Systems in New Albany for over 17 years. He loved his work and enjoyed everyday life.
Jason was born on April 21, 1974 in New Albany, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Gayla (Ferguson) Morris; children, Jessica, Jason, Jr., and Brittany Morris; stepchildren, Jenny, Chris, and Steve Ferguson; father, Gregory Morris, Sr. (Beverly); mother, Rebecca (Self) Helfer (Roger); brothers, Greg, Jr. (Lisa), Geoffery, and Chris Morris; granddaughter, Paetynn Morris; eight step grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 5 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home with burial at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ms. Gayla Morris in care of the funeral home.
