Jason King, 40, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 after a courageous fight with stage 4 brain cancer.
He was born on August 29, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky to Darnell and Diane King. Jason loved music and was a talented rapper. His family and children were his world and he loved them all.
He is preceded in death by his father, Darnell King; grandmother, Doris Lewis; grandfather, Albert King; mother of his oldest daughter, Patricia "Trish" Smith.
Jason is survived by his sons, Jason Darnell King, Jr. and Anthony Darnell King; daughters, Jayda Diane King and Jayla Diane King; mother, Diane King; sister, Tonya King; grandfather, Larry Lewis; Nana, Fannie King; sister-in-law, Bethany King; mother of his children, Stacy Faller and Ashley Brewer.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Jason's memory be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.
