Janis E. VanPelt age 67, of Simpsonville, Kentucky was called home on June 29, 2014 to be with her heavenly family.
She is the daughter of the late John E. and Jean Doty of Memphis,Michigan.
Janis was a life skills teacher in St. Clair, Michigan, she enjoyed mission work, traveling with family, spending time outside working in her gardens and most of all spoiling her grandchildren.
Janis is survived by her daughter, Sarah(Josh)Gomola, 3 grandchildren; Grady,Camdyn and Amelya, sister;Jill Purcell of Naples, Florida along with her niece; Jeanna (Eric) Brouillard and their two children, nephew; Joel(Sue) Will and her very best friend of 62 years Terrie(Charlie) Russell of Louisville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Kosair Children.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 4th 2014 at Simpsonville Baptist Church, Simpsonville,KY at 6:30pm.
