Janice Faye Rhodes, 72, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was born on November 26, 1948 in Louisville to the late Jesse and Anita (Nall) Rhodes. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Charlotte Emberton and Karen Rhodes. Janice is a member of Southeast Christian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed, spending time with her family, shopping, cooking and serving others.
Janice is survived by her loving sons, James Todd (Carmen) Gilbert and Kevin House, grandchildren, Savannah Gilbert, Austin (Hailee) Gilbert, Rachel (Loren) Block, Dylan Gilbert, Elexis Pike and Christian House, great grandchild , Gracelyn Block, and her siblings, Nancy Parrish, Gary Rhodes and Cheryl Campbell.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville.
