Janice M. Fryrear, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was born on August 24, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James and Bessie Clark. Janice was a devout Catholic and was very devoted to helping the poor and giving to anyone in need. For 25 years, she ran the cotton candy wagon at numerous parishes. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her sister, Judy Collier; and 2 brothers, Jim Clark and Steve Clark.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 55 years, John E. Fryrear, Jr.; 5 sons, Mark Fryrear, Brian (Sylvia) Fryrear, Todd (Christi) Fryrear, Scott (Missy) Fryrear and Kevin (Kristin) Fryrear; 13 grandchildren, Kris, Kayla, Nate, Sammy, Autumn, Braden, Rachel, Tracey, Jake, Conner, Abby, Andy, and Maddie; 2 great-grandkids, Remi and Lucas (and 3 on the way!!); a brother, Tom Clark; a sister-in-law, Sandy Clark; her two beloved dogs, Rascal and Spanky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other extended family members and friends who all loved her dearly.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at in , .
