Janice Anderson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed this world on October 24, 2025, in Milltown, Indiana, at the age of 72. Born on August 29, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Janice was a proud graduate of New Albany High School, where she began the journey that would ultimately reflect the warmth and compassion, she brought into the lives of those around her.

For many years, Janice dedicated her professional life as a billing specialist, tirelessly working to ensure that the finances were correctly managed across numerous hospitals along the East Coast. Her meticulous attention to detail and steadfast commitment to her work exemplified her caring nature, always ensuring that everything was in its right place.

Janice's life was not just marked by her career; she was a woman of many passions. She loved crafting and was especially fond of gardening, cooking, and sketching. Her culinary talents brought joy to her family and friends, and her famous waffles will forever remain a cherished memory for those lucky enough to indulge in her home-cooked meals. As a talented seamstress, she often created beautiful pieces that showcased her creativity and artistic flair.

Above all, Janice took immense pride in her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband Todd Anderson for twenty-six wonderful years, a loving mother to Gordon (Shaunda) Mosson and Michele Brown, and a doting grandmother to her grandkids, Breeanna, Lanny, Paige, Gage, Mia, Taylor, Payton, and Trenton. Watching her family grow and succeed was her proudest accomplishment, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Janice's nurturing spirit fostered deep bonds filled with love, laughter, and creativity—elements that will continue to resonate within her family.

Janice is survived by her cherished husband Todd, her children, her grandchildren, and her sisters: Jennifer Hamilton, Jetta (Kevin) Ashley, and Cynthia Booker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Gloria Booker, and her son Cameron Brown, who instilled in her the values of compassion, honesty, and hard work.

A Visitation will be held on October 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Southern Indiana, located in New Albany.
