Janet Whitman

Janet Whitman of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 29, 2016. She retired from Norton Hospital as a registered nurse for over 20 years. She was a member of Watkins United Methodist Church and was an active member in the Order of the Amaranth and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Janet was born on October 15, 1923 in Montreal,Quebec Canada to the late Howard and Alice (Douglas) Mandigo. She was also preceded in death by her son, Douglas Whitman.
Janet is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rodman Whitman; children, Paul (Tina) Whitman, Cynthia (Dan) Bullock and Dean (Yeon Suk) Whitman, daughter-in-law, Carol Whitman, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Howard Mandigo, Jr.
Services will be private.
