Janet Sue Carpenter, 70, passed away on January 23, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Bramblett and Laurene Kurk; her twin sister, Joyce Hodges; nephew, Jeff Phelps and cousin, Dale Hawkins.
Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Capenter; son, Scott (Peggy) Carpenter; daughters, Tricia (Scott) Childers and Stephaine Bond; grandchildren, Kayla Bond, Marissa Bond, Jarred Bond and Philip Heath; sister, Patricia Clark; brothers, Earl and Jimmy Bramblett.
Visitation for Janet will be Monday, January 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 4pm-7pm with a memorial service beginning at 7pm.
