Janet Lee (Salvatore) Hallman

Janet Lee (Salvatore) Hallman, 76, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was a long-time member of Northside Christian Church. Janet loved spending time with her family and friends and always enjoyed a nice glass of wine.

She was born on March 27, 1944, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, to the late Anthony and Ann (Bolin) Salvatore. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dave Davison.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Burley Hallman; son, Michael (Melissa) Hallman; daughter, Lori Hallman; grandchildren, Shelby Hallman, Addison Hallman, Seth (Destiny) Huls, and Cody Huls; sister, Toni Davison; nieces, Danielle (Adam) Harold and Kelly Davison; and nephew, Jeffery (Jackie) Davison.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Janet's wishes.
