Jane Marie Pevey, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 7, 2018. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Jane was a first grade teacher while living in Memphis, TN. When she moved to Louisville with her family, Jane and her late husband owned an operated a Baskin-Robbins for 19 years until her retirement in 1990.
Jane was born on March 29, 1930 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Forrest and Robbie Caughran. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Pevey; her son-in-law, Jerry Walker; and grandson, Matthew McGuigan.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Walker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY 40243), with a celebration of Jane's life to follow at 6 p.m. at Southeast in the fireside room.
In loving memory of Jane, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
