Jane Renee (Vanloon) Hill

Jane Renee (VanLoon) Hill, 63, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She enjoyed visiting the beach where she loved to salt-water fish, feel the sand between her toes, and smell the salt in the air. Jane also enjoyed working in her yard and gardens while tending to her plants and flowers. Of all her pastimes, her favorite was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was born on December 31, 1956, in San Pedro, California, to Dirk and Eva (Cooley) VanLoon. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Fred Hill.

Jane is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hill; children, Courtney Paris and her former husband, Adam Paris, and Alicia (Rene') Flemming; grandchildren, Conner Paris, Lillian Paris, Weston Flemming, Remington Flemming, and Makayla Flemming; mother-in-law, Janis Hill; sister-in-law, Carolyn (William) Hoge; and niece, Alexandra Hoge.

For the safety of our community, masks will be required to attend. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane) and will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, her Funeral Service will be kept private. She will be laid to rest in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Jane's memory be made to University of Louisville J. Graham Brown Cancer Center.
