Jamie Alison Day, born March 22, 1973, left us on May 14, 2026, leaving behind a quiet but deeply felt legacy of compassion, resilience, and unwavering dedication. A 1991 graduate of Seneca High School, Jamie’s life was marked by her steadfast work ethic and her ability to maintain dignity and strength even when she chose to keep to herself.
Her career as an electrical panel builder highlighted her skill and precision, yet those who truly knew Jamie understood that her greatest pride came from raising her daughter and standing strong as a financially independent woman. Jamie’s role as a mother was her truest accomplishment, a beacon of her love and perseverance.
Beyond the workplace and motherhood, Jamie had a heart that beat fiercely for animals. She was a passionate animal lover who devoted countless hours to animal rescue efforts. Jamie could often be found transporting animals to their new homes, always acting as a guardian and silent hero to creatures in need. Her kindness extended quietly into the world, making it a better place one small life at a time.
Jamie also held a special appreciation for veterans, showing deep respect and gratitude to those who served our country. She was known for her sincere thanks and support for veterans, embodying a spirit of honor and care that few notice but many feel.
In moments of peace, Jamie found beauty in the simple, magnificent things—the vibrant glow of sunsets and the elusive burst of rainbows that graced the sky. Racing and muscle cars were some of her cherished interests, allowing her a momentary escape into a world of speed and power that contrasted with her often reserved nature. She especially enjoyed music and playing her guitar.
Though she was a hard worker and kept her thoughts and feelings quietly guarded, Jamie’s life touched many. Her strength, kindness, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Jamie Alison Day’s story is one of resilience, compassion, and hope—a reminder that sometimes the strongest souls are those who face life quietly but leave behind an enduring light.
Jamie leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter, Amy (Thomas) Ashley; grand-cat, Eggs; her furbaby, Mia; father, Roy Michael (Jan) Day; best friend and father of Amy, Dale Budzisz; step brother, Job Campbell and aunts, uncles and cousins.
