"Well Done, Thy Good and Faithful Servant!' Earthly life, as we know it, came to a close on Sunday, June 4, 2017 for Jamie Nicole Cason aka Jamie Lawrence. She passed at the Margaret Dozier Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida. Her husband, DeWayne Anthony Lawrence, predeceased her in 2006. Funeral services were held in Tallahassee on June 8th. Burial will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 13, in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Born in Ft. Knox, KY, she graduated from North Harden High School and headed to Central State University, Ohio. She later moved to Florida, and received her B.S. in Social Work from FSU and her Master's in Social Work from FAMU. Jamie was a devoted professional who served with humility and a caring and positive attitude. Most recently, she served as a social worker with DaVita Dialysis. She was well-known for expressing her love for her nieces and nephews, Khalil, William, Khamya and Raven. She is also survived by her parents, William R. and Francine C. Cason, Radcliff, KY; sisters, Toni (Jamel) Frazier, Snellville, GA and Denise Cason, Radcliff, KY; step-son, Destonne Lawrence; step-daughter, Jessica Lawrence; father-in-law, James L. (Carolyn) Lawrence and mother-in-law, Theresa McKinnon; and countless other relatives and loving friends.
