Jamesetta Deborah (Livers) Girton, 84 born May 3, 1935 to the late James Livers and Alvia Cooper. She was adopted by the late Joesph and Reverend Lucy Curtin following the death of her mother. She was preceded in death by her Parents both natural and adopted and her daughter Elizabeth Eugenia Garnett. She sweetly departed this life to be with the Lord on December 29, 2019.

Jamesetta gave her life to Christ at an early age, under the late Bishop Schultz. She was faithful and dedicated member of Greater Bethel Temple. She Loved the Lord and was a devoted wife of the late James L.Girton. She was a praying and caring Mother of 4 children.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Debra (Billy) Cary, and Frances Cary, both of Louisville, KY, son, Stefan (Jonetta) Girton of Louisville, KY, two sisters, Mary (Donald) Douglas, of Ogden, UT and Ora Barbour of Louisville, KY, brother, Daniel (Jean) Livers of Missouri. Jamesetta helped raise 4 grandchildren, Angela Deneen Girton of Murfreesboro, TN, Erik (Tracey) Girton, Kelly Brown, and Corddaro Girton, all of Louisville, KY. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Extended Family, and Friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Greater Bethel Temple, (834 S 3rd St ). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Greater Bethel Temple with burial to follow at Louisville Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
